| UYCH delivers Foundation, Intermediate and Senior Levels of VCAL, which are year 11 and 12 equivalents. VCAL is very much a ‘hands on’ program again focusing on applied learning through projects and community activities. | |

One of the major projects recently undertaken by current participants was building a huge barbeque and outdoor rotunda so they could enjoy social get-togethers on campus, and enjoy classes outdoors in fine weather. Another activity involves a photography project in which students show what is important to them in their community. This project was displayed at the recent opening of the Mechanics Institute in Warburton. |

VCAL students also study Literacy, Numeracy, Personal Development, Work Related Skills and Industry Specific Skills, as well as undertaking Vocational Education Training in Hospitality, Automotive, Horticulture or Business Studies. |
