| This program enables young women to return to their studies and achieve a year 12 pass, with their babies and toddlers by their side. Alternatively UYCH has a Child Care Centre that the Young Mums can use if necessary. | |

VCAL Young Mums also provides the opportunity to gain accredited units in Children’s Services and Business. Young women involved in VCAL Young Mums are very keen to support other young parents in the area and major projects undertaken this year have been: hand making a quilt which shows services available to young mothers in the region, as well as being actively involved in establishing a local playgroup specifically focused on young parents. |
