UYCH Community Living provides a range of programs each designed to facilitate promote and support positive ageing whilst assisting older people to maintain an autonomous lifestyle.
MELBA Community Support Program
The Melba Program aims to assist older people to maintain the independent lifestyles by facilitating and promoting interactions between them and the local and broader community with the view of raising individual self-esteem and the value of older people within society in general.
The Men's Shed
This innovative program operates from the Warburton Business Incubator and provides men (some of whom may experience Dementia) with the opportunity to come together and share time in an atmosphere of mateship.
In Home Care
This program provides fully trained personnel to agencies and organisations which co-ordinate the delivery of personal care and support to older people living in their own homes.
